Eagle’s Nest

9/5/22 Edition

Eagleton Community,

MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL:

We all love our Eagleton community and we all take part in that community.  Students, Eagleton staff, parents, family members and our community partners.  Since we are all part of this community, each week in the Eagle’s Nest Newsletter, I will celebrate or acknowledge an Eagleton Family Member or Community Member.  We will do this by giving an affirmation. An affirmation is like a “shout-out” or a positive recognition.

Here’s our first!

In Ms. Fenske’s Class we would like to give an affirmation to the family of Camila Camacho-Monclova. Her mom Maria always says hi to other students when she sees them, and she always wants to help on field trips and volunteers whenever she is able. She’s always really friendly and helpful to others. Thank you!

MESSAGE FROM OUR SCHOOL NURSE:

Dear Parent(s) of Eagleton Students,

As we welcome your children to the new school year, we would like to review our illness policy so that we might keep all students safe and healthy.  The last two years have been`challenging ones and our goal is to keep your children free of illness, preventing their school attendance.

Please follow these guidelines when deciding if your child should attend school:

  1. If your child is acting ill and you decide to give any medication (Tylenol, Ibuprofen, cough medicine), PLEASE DO NOT send your child to school.  Notify the main office that your child will be absent.
  2. If your child is coughing (requiring medication) or has a runny nose that has colored mucus (anything that isn’t clear), please DO NOT send to school.`
  3. If your child has a temperature, do not send to school.

If you have questions whether or not your child should attend school, please contact:

                  720-424-7949 (health office) or 720-424-7986.

We are here to serve you and our students and want our year to be a healthy one.  We are grateful for your support.    ~Nurse Liz
