Eagle’s Nest

12/1/22 Edition

MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL:

As the weather continues to get colder, please remember to send your children to school with a warm coat, gloves and hat.  Our students go outside for recess even in the cold weather.  It is important they are prepared for the colder temperatures.

EAGLETON FAMILY SPOTLIGHT:

I would like to give a shout out to Karina & Silverio Lavalle, parents of Guadalupe Lavalle-Moncada. Guadalupe is the 2nd generation of her family to attend Eagleton.

Since before school started, Karina has been in communication with me to ensure Guadalupe had a smooth start to kindergarten. Karina & Silverio continue to support Guadalupe & our class by donating snacks and school supplies and volunteering to chaperone field trips.

Thank you Lavalle family! (Submitted by Ms. Garcia, Kinder Teacher)

MESSAGE FROM OUR NURSE:

Dear Eagleton Families,

In order to keep all of our children, families, and staff safe from illness, we are asking that you keep your child home from school, if they are ill.  Please consult with the school nurse prior to sending your child to school if you have questions or concerns, as we are making every effort to keep all community members healthy.

As the holidays approach and there are large gatherings, it is especially important that you consider all members of the Eagleton family.  We want everyone to have a wonderful holiday free from illness.

Please help us take care of one another!

Liz Vannostrand

Eagleton School Nurse
