At Eagleton, we have several events coming up. We would love for you to participate!
Feb. 14th – Each classroom will do a small celebration at the end of the day in their classroom. (This is a regular day of school.) This year, we are encouraging all classrooms to celebrate and recognize empathy instead of just focusing on love or commercialism. In order to build empathy in our students, we would love to consider ways to support the community through community service. Do you know of a great community service project our students could participate in? Please fill out this survey if you have any ideas or feel free to email me at Janine_Dillabaugh@dpsk12.net
Feb. 15th – Picture Day at School – No uniforms required!
Feb 16th – 100th Day of School! Students and staff can dress up like they are 100 years old! Join the fun in celebrating 100 days in school so far.
Feb. 16th – Family Engagement Night. Join us at 4:30pm!
I’d like to give a shout out to Linda Padilla, David Caldera-Padilla’s mom. Linda has taught David that it is important to be kind, show empathy and love yourself and others. David added “Love each other” to our class Social Contract. “Loving each other” has become a class favorite and something we do everyday. Thank you Linda & David for adding love to our class!
