Hello! I’m Lauren Baird and I’m one of the onsite substitute teachers! I’m lucky enough to be able to come in everyday and help wherever is needed. I have my bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of New Mexico. I’ve been a substitute teacher since 2021 and moved here to Denver in 2022 from Albuquerque! I’ve loved Colorado and plan on staying as long as I can! Eagleton Elementary has welcomed me with open hearts and accepted me right away into their family. I’ve been in almost every single classroom subbing for teachers, paraprofessionals, and intervention teachers so I’ve gotten to work with almost every kiddo in the building! What makes my day is having a student light up when they see me and call out my name excitedly in the halls 🙂
