Sue Curtis (she, her, hers)
Sue lived in several different states as well as Germany and Greece when she was growing as her father was in the military. She is a graduate of Arizona State University and has a M.A. in Elementary Education with a Reading Specialist Certification from Northern Arizona University. Sue is a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Early and Middle Childhood / Literacy: Reading – Language Arts.
As an educator for 42 years. Sue has taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th graders in three states: Texas, Arizona and Colorado. She has also worked as an instructional coach in Arizona and Colorado.
This is Sue’s eighth year at Eagleton Elementary and her 14th in Denver Public Schools. She loves working with the staff, students and neighborhood community of Eagleton. When she is not at school Sue enjoys spending time with her husband Mike: hiking, riding bikes, sitting on the patio and enjoying music together.
